Novello is a very efficient professional company and easy to deal with. On the prescribed date I received by email an extensive and thorough building survey which was supported with multiple photographs. A talk through with the surveyor involved on site was of real value. Understanding critical issues and not walking into the unknown is confidence building.

Excellent service, really pleased and will certainly use again. I used Novello on recommendation from a friend, and I was delighted with their service. Conducting a survey at short notice in the Christmas period, Mr Brook was superbly thorough and professional, answering all my questions quickly. The post survey report is in-depth but is in layman's terms, meaning that I can understand and learn from it. Unfortunately I am still on the hunt for a property (thanks to a thorough survey) and will certainly look to use Novello again. Thank you very much!
Absolutely amazing surveyors - can't rate them highly enough. James discovered a major structural issue in a property within 30 minutes of the survey that I was considering purchasing, that the seller's surveyors and 3 mortgage surveyors hadn't spotted. James carried out a building survey for me recently. Report very thorough and easy to understand and brought to my attention some issues that I had overlooked. The report allowed me to renegotiate the purchase price with the vendor and I was successful in bringing the purchase price down by 25k! I know some people baulk at the cost of a professional valuation, however this has always seemed a false economy to me. If you are purchasing a property then do the sensible thing and get yourself a decent valuation as it is worth every penny. Communication throughout was excellent and report produced much quicker than expected and James also took the opportunity to ring me to talk through his findings on the same day he visited the property.
