Epsom post office at 74, the high street, is routinely closing at between 5:05 pm and 5:10 pm on a Saturday (the rest of the convenience store remains open, but they shutter off the post office part). If this were made clear it would be fine, but the sign on the door says it is open until 5:30 on Saturdays; they should either change the sign, or stay open until at least 5:25. Otherwise, all is fine.

Awful customer service in this post office, staff are so rude. What gets my back up is their attitude, it's rude and angry. A post office used to be place of community, this lot act like they dislike their customers very much, even when things are going smoothly. Even at times when I may have been in the wrong about something, it's the way they deal with you, they have no loyalty to customers at all. I also experienced similar attitude in Ewell village post office. I won't return to Epsom, as the last reviewer said, they fill you with dread at the thought of going in, so I won't anymore.

Never ever use this post office if you can help it. The counter staff are rude, arrogant and treat you with disrespect. I avoid using this post office completely because of the countless negative experiences with the staff. They are condescending and have absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I would not recommend this place to anyone and can't believe it is still able to function the way it does. They need to fire the current staff and recruit new members of staff that are trained in basic manners, social skills and basic customer service. DO NOT USE!

Much better today, Saturday. New staff, completely different experience, efficient and polite

I have had several really unpleasant experiences here, just to post a recorded letter! There are a couple of male staff behind the counter on the far right, who are discourteous, rude, talk amongst themselves when you approach, and I feel threatened so I try to go to my local Post Office instead of here or print postage labels at work. Anything not to go in there. The staff mentioned above should be monitored and then if it continues sacked!

I have today been treated extremely rudely by the man on the far right and the guy to the left of him joined in too, talking about me to each other and then virtually shouting at me . All I was doing is posting a parcel with a reused jiffy bag. He was patronising and seemingly goading me for a reaction/argument as if it was some kind of sport to them. I came out quite traumatised and will not be going back there ever again especially as I now recall had a bad experience with the same guy some months ago.

These employees are the most rudest and curt ignoramus animals I have ever had the misfortune to experience. They put me and my mother in fear and dread of going into the post office. One clerk actually threw a parcel over his shoulder after I asked him if he could possibly say please and thank you (after 2 years of his distain to me and other customers) the parcel was an iPad, thrown over his shoulder. I still, to day dread going in there as the experience affects my mood for the whole day. I asked one day why they are so nasty to all of us, and the one I confronted simply shrugged his shoulders. I have seen other people walk away from the counter making comments such like ' my god what was that' This is Royal Mail a British institution, which deserves grace politeness and confidence. The Epsom branch deserves non of this, and is a profound disgrace to this historical British institution. DISGUSTING
