Such a shame giving a 1 star review but had no choice! The main issue was the main meal. We talked openly in front of the waiter than my Mum had various intolerances, one being wheat. The dish we thought sounded nice for my Mum we ordered and nowhere did it say it was pasta. After explaining we didn't ask for pasta I believe the Manager came over and said the dish contained pasta, I said that nowhere does it indicate that and how you should tell your Customers what they're ordering / eating. She even had the arrogance to point to other dishes and say these are all pasta (these actually said pasta in the description but my Mum's did not). Openly saying she wouldn't eat the main there was 0% empathy shown and no other option was offered like a free starter or discounted main due to the error on the menu. The woman seemed happy my Mum not having a meal! Other little things were the chairs we really uncomfortable, the pot of tea leaked all over the table as we poured it. We paid full price bar the 10% service charge and walked out gracefully. Would have ordered desert but had lost trust in the menu and the restaurant. What was meant to be a special celebration was ruined. Wouldn't go again. I would say to avoid!
First visit following husband's recommendation and was not disappointed. The menu was varied and had interesting variations of the ususl pasta /pizza dishes plus more. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Staff were helpful and polite. Will visit again soon as there was so much choice.
The best kept secret in Epsom. A lovely meal, wonderful wine (2019 Gavi). Cant understand why it was so quiet when many of the other dreadful restaurants in Epsom were busy. Good value too. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
Excellent food with great atmosphere and friendly staff. The primitivo red wine we had was very enjoyable. (Although we realised later that they had told us the region rather than the maker when we asked about it, so we still don't know what it was.)
