Great little library with very friendly staff. They have the stories and crafts every Mondays which are excellent value (1 per child when I attended a year ago), any similar activities would easily be 6-7 elsewhere. They sell second hand books for both adult and children among a few other little things from local artists like homemade knitted puppets. I recommend regular visits so we keep our local libraries open and lively!

What a great little place, truly playing a vital part in community relations and support. They are set apart from other traditional libraries by being innovative, incredibly helpful, child focussed and the warmth and friendliness of its staff / volunteers us noteworthy. I love this little library - it's perfect for my needs as a parent of 2 young children.

More than a load of books. I have always been impressed with Stoneleigh Community Library because it does what it says on the tin - it is a true community library, one that provides for the whole community and, whilst there are plenty of great books, the volunteers who run the library provide a lot of other community activities such as Rhymetime for the little ones, story sessions, craft and decorating events, plant sales, local speaker events, free computer and internet use, celebrations of national and local events and free computer support sessions. This library is a real community hub and I know many in the community value it highly.
