Great place to meet up. Really friendly and helpful staff. My friend has a gluten allergy and a bit allergy and they went through the menu to see what was suitable and found her something she could eat.

Another town another Spoony's this one some sort of historic old Assembly Rooms, nice and airy and roomy inside and a lovely brekky as ever
Went on the last day of half price meals as a treat. Staff were very friendly and the manager couldn't have been more helpful. They were rushed off their feet but still service was excellent. There was a young crowd, mostly students as we are a Uni/College town so rather noisy [8/9pm] but atmosphere was convivial. My meal was lovely, very tasty and great new vegan burger. Even at full price it's a bargain! Thank you Wetherspoons (Btw the ladies loos are a destination spot in themselves!)

All ways good food and prices. But this place is showing its age place is a bit run down and could do with an refit update as this is still the same when it 1st open back in early 2000

Lovley cosy warm atmosphere, had a large breakfast, tasty and well presented, will be back again, well worth getting out of bed early for.
