Your wedding dress is one of the most important parts of your wedding day and it certainly was for me. I was really nervous about getting my dress designed as opposed to buying one from a shop but Charlotte put me at ease immediately on our first meeting. She has so much experience and was able to effortlessly transform my ideas in to beautiful designs that we adapted over the 12 months before the wedding. It was so easy to work with Charlotte, she is a fantastic designer, a creative inspiration and nothing was too much trouble to create my dream wedding dress. I would recommend Charlotte to any bride who wants a bespoke, original wedding dress that people will be asking you about all day at your wedding and again when you get your photos back

An experience in a million, from the first meeting where Charlotte patiently listened to me run off the extensive list of what I thought I wanted, none of which was coherent, to the day itself where I felt incredible. The process is a memory I will cherish forever. More importantly the skill that Charlotte processes is incredible, her ability to take your words and actually create a physical dress out of that is just amazing. Her pattern cutting is second to none and her attention to detail is perfection. Making delicate silk flowers and hand embellishing everything, involving you as the creation comes to life. The final piece is literally your dream dress, so I would without hesitation recommend if you want something a little different, something that is 'you' and also if you want to enjoy your fittings as if you were with an old friend.

Charlotte is a dream maker! Honestly, you cannot go wrong with a dress made by Charlotte. As a plus size bride, the wedding dress shopping experience was not the one you see on TV and in movies where the bridesmaids all gather round with champagne and shriek....I was feeling SO downhearted. Until I emailed Charlotte to arrange an initial meeting. The moment she replied to that first email I felt at ease, and rightly so.... I couldn't love my dress more. We worked together (well, I sent Charlotte endless reams of inspiration photos) to craft my dream dress that the rest of the wedding dress industry seemed to think I wouldn't want because I'm a size 18. Not only that, I gained a friend! What more could you ask for.

Charlotte is my wedding dress hero. I was pretty clear about the kind of dress I wanted (bridal separates, embellishments and pockets!) and didn't want to be talked out of it. Everyone always has their own opinions on your day! Having said that, I was terrible at articulating what what I liked when it came to the details but Charlotte just got it. I wasn't a very girly bride and we didn't have a typical wedding. The ceremony was at the town hall with our closest friends followed by lunch and then we had a big party a few weeks later. The dress worked for both events perfectly. Charlotte was great at refining my many clashing thoughts and very patient when I was indecisive. The detail and attention she put into the embellishments was incredible and I had so many people comment on how beautiful it was. I cannot recommend Charlotte enough!

Charlotte had designed my best friend Laura’s beautiful wedding dress and so when I started to plan my wedding there was no question who I wanted to craft my own. I only had 3 months to plan for the big day, but Charlotte didn’t bat an eyelid when I told her what little time we had and her enthusiasm teamed with her calm and professional manner made me feel greatly excited and at ease. Charlotte was so creative and really bought the design to life with such clever and exquisite detail. I loved the whole process of going for fittings - it was such fun and I loved seeing how the dress was taking shape - I couldn’t have been happier with the finished garment. The dress is absolutely beautiful and I felt so special wearing it on my wedding day, Charlotte is a wonderful woman and such a talent, I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Charlotte is a true artist. I knew that I wanted a special, unique and one of a kind wedding dress and was so lucky to discover Wilden Bride. The entire process from start to finish felt like a dream that resulted in exactly what I imagined for our wedding day. She has a gift to translate ideas, memories, words, and photos into something bespoke - just for you. I cannot recommend her process enough. She is also just a lovely, all around good person that you get to know well during the fittings. Despite our destination wedding in Tuscany, we were even able to include our two faithful bulldogs embroidered within my dress, sitting by my feet, for our wedding day in Italy. Thank you Charlotte!
