Visited Casa dell'Atrio a Mosaico back in 2019 and it's definitely one of the most impressive buildings in the site and worth visiting. This house is named for the mosaics found in the house. The building is one of the largest in the archaeological site and must’ve belonged to a very important and wealthy person. The building itself is well preserved, but the most significant part of the building is mosaic that covers the entrance of the house, extending all the way to the atrium. The mosaic has an interesting checkerboard pattern. The part nearer the entrance has geometric and other shaped designs in the squares, while the mosaics in the atrium had a simpler black or white for the squares. The garden of the building can also be viewed from the street and further shows just how important the owner must’ve been.

Amazing and well worth visiting if you like history. Took about 2 hours to complete the tour complete with audio commentary. Sad that a lot of the old city has been covered with the new city.
