コリント式アトリウムの家 Casa dell'Atrio Corinzio

Visited archaeological park back in 2019. The Casa dell'Atrio Corinzio is thought to be one of the oldest houses in the archeological site. The house gets its name from the peristyle atrium of the Corinthian order. One of the most interesting aspects of this house is that it really feels like a house and a testament to the restoration work. The entrance to the building is directly from the street, with steps leading to the house which sits on a slightly elevated level above the street. The atrium is in the middle of the building and all the rooms of the house open around the atrium giving it a very homelike feel. Definitely one of the more interesting buildings to see.
