This place is very nice and a intimate setting that's rich in history of the town of Erwin Tennessee. Prices are great and the food and service are top notch, anytime you get the chance to stop and eat here I would!

You can't visit Erwin without stopping here. The cafe is inside a beautiful old building, loved the tall ceilings and grand ambience! The owner served us, she was so helpful and told us all about the history of the her cafe and the building. The homemade food and freshly baked cake was delicious, plenty and reasonably priced. So glad we decided to give it a try and will be back.
I loved my chicken salad. Although it came as a sandwich, she allowed me to have it on a small plate with crackers. Perfect lite lunch that I wanted. Generous serving. My husband had a huge Reuben sandwich and he enjoyed his too.
Step back in time when you walk into this cafe! The building was built in 1903, with the thick walls of the era. Although it was hot and muggy outside, it’s cool as a cucumber inside. Enjoy the Alpine Village model train in the entry and sip on a tall glass of iced tea while you take in the history of the building. And don’t forget your piece of triple layer chocolate cake! Delicious food at a reasonable price. I’ll be going back!
I was pleasently surprised and felt blessed to have discovered this hidden treasure in Erwin. The owner and proprietor is a one person operation and efficient. We will most definently return there for lunch.
