Their customer service ethics are appalling. I let you to decide after you read my experience with them and take your own decision. I ordered few items and pay for them for collection from Esher branch. I received an email informing me that the items are ready to collect from Esher branch on 18.09.2020. On the day, because was 1 hour away, I called to make sure that the items are ready for collection and I won't waste my company money traveling there and back for nothing - the guy I spoke with assured me that everything is ready and I can come to collect. After 1 hour of driving through London I arrived at the branch just to be informed that the items are not there. They apologised and offered to come back next day or a different item than the one ordered or a full refund. I explained them that neither option is acceptable as I needed the exact same product for the project urgently, and I can't drive again wasting time and money to collect the items. I requested them together with their apologise to deliver the items on their cost or to offer a partial refund to make up for our costs due to their mistake. Neither were accepted. I believe that is unacceptable to put your costumer on roads for nothing and to not take responsability for you mistake and at least cover part of their costs. Is not about the money, is about ethics and service. For me is a last order on behalf of the company I work for. You can decide for yourself - I can provide the emails and phone history as proof to anyone that needs it. Have tried to arrange to order roofing and velux from them for a 10k plus order, queried the pricing as it seemed expensive in parts, to be told they had done the best price. Then find they actually list the products they were quoting me for significantly cheaper on their own website. Consequently ordered elsewhere.
