15 June 2019 Appalling service for a locked flat door. Mr Broome quoted a price of 70 without seeing the lock that doubled to 140. MB did not discuss the increase of 70. He accepted 110 for which he refused to provide a receipt. When challenged, he hectored and was extremely abusive. He admitted he did not put in a lock case and did not finish the job correctly. 18 June 2019 new locksmiths attended they said that Mr Broome had made a "Pigs Ear" of the situation demonstrating a poor knowledge of locks. They fitted a new correct lock case. Without a receipt from MB I can't claim the 110 I paid him back on my insurance. Those are the facts which in my view deserve the one star review.
