The Service was very quick and very helpful, there seem to be no queues ever in this bakery as the service is so effective. The quality of the goods was exquisite and the price was very worthwhile. This is my favourite shop in the area and I love coming here once a week.

Drove up to check the place out especially, I am a vegan and wanted to see what they have on offer, as the pictures look good. Unfortunately their oven was broken so no vegan pizza or pastries. Which was a shame but cannot be helped. But also no vegan sandwich options?! Tons of chicken mayo, tuna mayo etc but nothing for the vegans? I said have you got any vegan savoury options you can make me ? To which I just got a simply reply of 'no'..... Really disappointed and I was so surprised as I thought the staff would be helpful, being somewhere which id heard is really accommodating to vegans. Such a shame.

I heard about this place from Tom, he said the pastries were to die for and I was not disappointed. The staff were also very helpful when they gave me my pizza and it was cold, they couldn't apologize enough - Excellent service

Traditional brick oven bakery. Traditional farmhouse loaf is fantastic! Great sandwiches and rolls too (their bacon sandwich is fantastic!) Pasties, pies and cakes as well.

NEW MANAGEMENT ! used to love il forno with all my heart but sadly it is completely changed, ALL VEGAN OPTIONS GONE. sandwiches are now premade and the only remaining vegan stock is the loaves of bread. heartbroken. fellow vegans, we've lost a real gem here.
