Wow! Modernist Perfection. If you like modernist architecture, book yourself in for the tour, as this property is absolute perfection in design. Only to be seen by pre-booked tour, take the short shuttle journey, guided by your most knowledgable tour & be wowed. Designed by Patrick Gwynne in 1938 you will be amazed by the design perfection, well appointed with relevant & completed iconic furniture pieces from the modernists & mid-century period. Highly recommended for any enthusiast.

Excellent day out with the family, great play ground which is always generally busy, also has events on regularly too. The Easter event was really good, they also had a battle re-enactment this weekend, which was very entertaining. Nice cafe just outside with good coffee and millionaires shortbread :)

Beautiful place. A very good representation of modernist architecture set in a very large landscaped garden.

A beautiful modernist home built in the 1930's. A must see but not a well known NT property. We would love to go back in different seasons. A great tour. No photo allowed inside.

What a gem of a mid-century home in a part of London definitely worth exploring. The tour was informative and property has been surprisingly well kept as a time capsule in the architect’s honour.

National trust house of a modernist architect, during your visit you can visit the garden as well. Tour the house only through booking.highly recommended however information given from the national trust tour guides is quite poor and basic

Very fascinating place which was a lovely day out with my partner and our little girl. If you plan on walking around the whole park it's great and there are some amazing views. At the entrance there's a lovely little cafe - but the staff were a bit rude (but didn't spoil it for us) Nice little play area too :)

Lovely place, but as National Trust staff goes very poor and a bit surprising as normally great at other places. Clearly they would benefit from additional training!
