Very friendly and helpful staff. The course can be overwhelming to start, but easily overcome. Do ask for directions like I did and the members were understanding and friendly. Please be aware holes 3-8 are on common land, expect to come across dog walkers and the public. Keep your ball on the fairway and you will enjoy this testing course. If you don't you might find your ball, but if you don't I'm positive you will find a few others that went MIA from other members while looking for yours.

First of all, I just want to say that the guy on the till was very friendly. The course itself is terrible. It’s very poorly maintained and there aren’t really any fairways, it’s just rough. The actual rough is just bushes and trees. The greens are OK. The 18 holes share 9 greens which makes things quite chaotic. At one point myself and another player took turns aiming in eachothers direction. The public walk around this course without a care in the world, literally walking right across a hole. I had to delay teeing off on one hole as a family decided to stop right in the centre to take photos. We shouted, however they ignored us. Then finally, you get the unwelcoming grumpy old regulars (as well as friendly ones!). You better not hit the ball anywhere near these frail moaners, or they'll claim you almost killed them!

Friendly staff, but terrible course design and plant layout. It's basically 9 greens in your local common - there is a single fairway where three holes share, with people walking their dogs off the leash. Fun, but the whole experience was quite stressful.

Awful course, badly maintained, nearly done my ankle a couple of times in holes. Very very patchy. Some of the holes cross over each other. We were very close to being hit. Its like playing in a public park but worse. People picnicking on the course with children. I'm used to playing on council courses that arent amazing but this is a new level completely. Im a beginner and even i wont be going back.
