Tasty brunch, cute decorations, nice atmosphere. The scones were not as good as the ones I've had in the UK, but they were decent.

Cute place with healthy food and adorable waitresses.
Café livres is the best cozy café in essen Südviertel area the food is good the drinks are amazing and the place interior is beyond me . There's books to read as well The bathroom is clean . The waiters here are the nicest people you will ever meet. I can give you a tip book before you go there because it's always full especially now in Corona because of the 1,5 m social distancing . The place offers a lot of options for Vegans and vegetarians and you can switch the milk in your coffee to a dairy alternative milk as well The cakes are fresh and each day they have something different I would definitely recommend a piece of cake I can definitely say this is my favourite cafe in Essen
Very nice café with books, daily specials, events and, well, coffee. Liked it a lot.
It’s always busy and cozy The food is nice and the service is good but not very fast
Great service and food. Definitely s place to come back again. What they could do better: start accepting credit /debit cards, otherwise for clients like me, who does not use cash at all, the experience is as if we were in 15th century..
Well maintained cafe. It is a little warm inside since it does not have an AC (i think). Drinks are pretty good.
A nice and cozy cafe is run by friendly staff. I had "Rührei Speck", scrambled egg with bacon. It was a good amount and tasty! I could see some babies with their parents so If you want to come to have a nice BF with your baby, the cafe is very parents friendly.
