I went there to buy a good wine for my mother in law as we are visiting for the weekend. The owner kicked me out of the store because I used the vivino app to check one wine I was interested in. Good that I checked because it had mediocre reviews and the real price was eur 8.5, instead of this store price of eur 19. An overpriced store with a really shortsighted owner who is scamming clients who don't care to check if they're buying good or bad wine for over 200% overcharge

DO NOT GO TO Yes the atmosphere is reasonably nice, and the owner is initially kind.... But: as most people state: Costs: Prices are not indicated and very high The wine: Yes the wine is nice and special, however even compared to the wine one gets in a Michelin-star restaurant overpriced. Food / Canned: All the food is from cans and pots. some might be imported from the mediteranean, but it is still canned food and hence has no preperation. As there is no preperation it shouldn't be that expensive. Wine: I was given a glas of wine for E9,- It had cork in it. The wine was then filtered trough a rough siff and given to me again. It still had too much cork in it. For that amount of money that schouldn't be the case. Food / Tuna: the "marinated" tuna was very dry. Even with some extra olive oil. Food / Burata: yes the Burata (kind of Mozarella) was nice. But please spare yourself the costs and go get it at the local Edeka 500m down the block: We did it and i kid you not: you wont taste the difference. Seating: Too small and too crowded; one is sitting too close to the next table. CONCLUSION: fairly nice food of good quality, however way overpriced. Go to a Michelin star restaurant and you'll have more, better and higher quality for a lower price.
Sehr leckere Weine und tolles Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre. Wir waren letztes Jahr mehrmals da und immer sehr zufrieden. Uriges Lokal, in dem man sich wohl fühlt.
Total nette kleine Weinbar, sehr gemütlich. Spontan auf einen Weißburgunder gebliebenen...
Zufällig entdeckt. Klasse Weine und passendes Essen dazu. Klein, gepflegt und gemütlich. Sehr individuelle Bedienung, einfach top!
Sehr unfreundlicher Gastwirt. Wer einen freundlichen Tag/Abend in Rüttenscheid verbringen möchte, sollte eine der vielen anderen Gastronomien aufsuchen. Hier kann ich jedem als Alternative das LE CHAT NOI in der Brigittastr. 22 in Rüttenscheid empfehlen.
Wir hatten eirne zuvor gebuchte Weinprobe mit Essensbegleitung im Emma 2. Die Weine warten sehr gut und wir haben viele Hintergründe erfahren. Obwohl der Laden sehr voll war, hat man sich viel Zeit genommen. Das Essen war exzellent! Vermeintlich einfach, doch alles sehr schön angerichtet und von hervorragender Qualität! Es gibt im Emma 2 nur kalte Gerichte, da man sich von den vielen Gastrinomen der Rü abheben möchte. Wir hatten Prosecco mit Jahrgangssardinen in Olivenöl, Weißwein mit Burrata, Tomaten und Olivenöl, Rotwein mit einer Schnitte geröstetes Brot mit Trüffel-Pilz-Oliven-Aufstrich und zu guter Letzt Weißwein mit einer Käseauswahl. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend und mit 69 /Kopf auch preislich angemessen und sehr empfehlenswert!
Immer sehr lecker und super freundlich. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden. Top. Burrata war sehr lecker und der Wein ein Gedicht.
