Amazing location and view. Music is neutral and not annoying but would be nice to have it a bit quieter for a private talk or for reading.
One of my favorite place in Essen. On the weekend, take your book. Come to Baldeneysee and take a long walk. Then sit here. Eat smt traditional German. Take a rest with a coffee, beer.. Just recommend here but please leave a few chairs always for someone else. :)
Brilliant location. Nice garden. Friendly service. A little walk along the lake gets you here. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
In mid December we almost didn't expect it to be open but it was. The owners run kitchen, bar and service themselves. They are amazingly friendly. We only had apple cake and cappuccino, both was excellent!
