I appreciate you guys making palak paneer for me tonight! (Wasn’t on the menu) We just felt the food was quite bland. I understand restaurants in England need to cater to English people but it’s such a shame how hard it is to find authentic flavours these days. Staff was lovely though!

I've eaten here a couple of times (takeaway) in the past and the first time I did I was impressed to find indian food not laden with oil and unnecessarily spiced. I am Indian and I'm disappointed how often indian food is misrepresented by chefs trying to get the old cheap trick in of pouring lots of oil into dishes to make them 'tasty'. There are of course some dishes in Indian cuisine which ware meant to be oily but is by no means the norm for absolutely anything you eat! In any case, craving a goan prawn curry tonight we ordered some along with two other items a kadai paneer and a plate of samosas. I happen to be from the region around Goa and can tell you a prawn curry is never either oily or spicy - our takeaway box had about half an inch of red oil at the top and was far from light and stew-like which is what it is meant to be. The kadai paneer also had the thick layer of oil and the samosas tasted of cheap oil and the filling far from authentic. We spent 10 minutes just trying to first get some of the oil out and then safely dispose of it. I wont be ordering from here again.

Honestly was expecting better food after reading the reviews, I've had better (and cheaper) Indian food in London. Nice food presentation, good service and ok atmosphere.
