Love tbe cable car system here in LA Paz. You can plan to see different parts of the city zigzag in the "snow lifts" ... It is a new system and construction to add new lines are underway. Great way to traverse the city..

This is the station where the yellow and green lines meet. cost is 3 BOB (0.50 USD) each way. The green line takes you by some really rich houses on the hill. The yellow line takes you up on the hills with a great view of the snow topped mountains. 17 minutes each way.
The service is good, but at the pick hour is too crowded.... Early morning or close to night you can take some nice shots of La Paz city
Riding the teleferico is a must-do while in La Paz. The fare is incredibly cheap, the views are amazing, and cars come constantly, meaning no waiting. The whole system is pretty new and a bit of a showpiece for the Evo Morales regime. The only downside is that it only connects a few places, so you may not find it to be a very helpful mode of transport. But still worth riding.
