. Nice ice cream and great orange juice in a pretty square. It is a commercial chain, so the ice creams are perhaps not as good as at the Italian ice-cream place right next door. But they are still pretty good, and the orange juice is lovely. This cafe is in the Plaza Dr Arce, the little triangular-shaped square with a statue and fountain in the middle, between the Plaza de las Flores and the Calle Terraza. Traffic-free, you sit out here looking at the orange trees (gorgeous scent of orange blossom in spring!) and listen to the fountain as you sip your orange juice, drink your coffee or lick your ice-cream. But first you must sit down at the right table . . . There are in fact 4 different eating places in this square, and their tables are all spread out. What you need to do is look at the place you are going to eat. Let's say Heladeria Cafeteria La Jijonenca. OK, look at the table nearest to its door. What colour is the table? What are the chairs like? How about the sunshade? Having taken careful note of all this, you then select the table whose position you prefer, ensuring that it's from the right eating place. otherwise you may end up having to eat a plate of fried fish instead of a Knickerbocker Glory! В жаркий полдень получили большое наслаждение! Мороженое супер и внимательный персонал.
Además de un servicio regular con los pedidos equivocados, cuando le pedimos cambiar lo que había traído mal nos respondieron mal y con mal tono de voz, pedimos un cafe más y nos contesto de nuevo mal, nos trajo la mantequilla y al darle las gracias nos respondió desagradable y con retintin como si el servirnos el desayuno le estuviera costando un esfuerzo, no es la primera vez que venía pero si la última, la chica si tiene un mal día que se quede en su casa pero es que es todos lo días.. No se su nombre pero lo describo morena pelo rizado por encima de los hombros y con cara desagradable como si fuera su trabajo mantener esa cara.. Le deseo suerte en la vida xq si va así x la vida la va a necesitar..
Excelentes helados para tomar en la bonita plaza aledaña.
