Nice facilities but course was in really tough shape (greens very rough). They ran out of golf carts and got us out late. Very nice staff so feel bad leaving review but was expecting more.

Incredible views, wildlife everywhere. Course conditions were excellent. Elevated greens made it difficult to score. Everyone was very nice and pace of play was quick. 3:40 foursome 18 holes on a Sunday twilight.
The higher ups need to really teach some of the older geriatric employees how to talk to and treat the golfers. We traveled from an hour north to play here today. We were getting our shoes on and carts ready for maybe 2 minutes and we were told by an older employee to “get a move on, there are other people wanting to golf too”. I was a little confused after that one hahaha. After we arrived at the 1st tee on time (8:46am on the dot), there was a group in front of us and a group in front of them on the green. The older starter guy saw us waiting for the group ahead of us to get far enough down the fairway and he yelled, “IT’S A PAR 5, LET’S GET MOVING!” This is also the same guy who denied us water before the 1st hole and said that “we’re out of it”. I’ve never been anywhere where our group has gotten yelled at for giving the group in front of us a respectable amount of space down the fairway so we don’t hit them (2/4 guys out of group can drive almost 300yds). Also, was this dude in such an unnecessary hurry that I couldn’t get a cup of water which takes 10 seconds? It was incredibly rude and wasn’t what I was expecting considering the price a morning round goes for. If you’re gonna’ be crabby to customers then stay retired or try a different part-time job where you can have a petty attitude while you do it. Although that happened which got us off to a rocky start, the course was fun, in great shape, and the greens were exceptional as well. Definitely a good birthday golf round! Also, the younger guys at the cart return were very polite and helpful as well. I hope to play here again but I also hope to get treated better as a customer.
Average to good conditions. Abysmal pace of play. Staff seemed less than interested in the guest experience. Birds and wild pigs were the highlights rather than the golf
Good course. We (10-12 handicaps) teed at 8:15 on MLK day and played in 3:40. Course is a challenge - don’t be fooled by 6400 yds. There are some meaty holes and trouble just off every fairway. Greens are in good enough shape. We suggest bringing a few extra balls. Small item: if playing early, bring some water and a towel to dry cart seats and clean your stuff as none are provided. Nice employees.
