Really disappointing, raw chicken and tasteless food. We have been coming here for years and always had good service and tasty meals. I dug into the curry I had ordered and it was still piping hot after a 30 minute journey and it was very watery and tasteless and the rice was lumpy and clumped together, obviously just defrosted in the microwave. Half way through I decided to check the chicken inside and it was still pink in places, I stopped eating at this point and felt physically sick, still too early to tell if I have salmonella. I phoned the restaurant and explained, they said that they didn’t have any other complaints from other customers yet, they didn’t want to see the photos and that they will give me a free dish when I’m passing next, I said I’m put off by anything from the Claypot at the moment so then they said they’ll issue a credit note instead despite asking for a refund apparently this has to be authorised by a signature… Why not offer to send a cheque or BACS… I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I’ve written this review because I don’t feel like I’ve been taken seriously enough or listened to. Really disappointed and won’t be returning.

Ordered a prawn phall with a tarka dahl and got some free popadoms. If you are a fan of phall curries you will know that they are hotter than vindaloo curries by some large margin, unfortunately it wasn't spicy or hot and tasted very bland and watery. The tarka dahl was also quite tasteless and didn't have the classic smoky flavour. One of the popadoms wasn't cooked properly and was raw in the centre. We won't be returning as I am sorry to say this is the most bland Indian food I have ever tasted.

Huge portions, delicious food and really helpful staff. Inside is clean and smooth with good atmosphere. Now this restourant is my best pick for Indian cuisine! Amazing value for money! Will be back for sure!
