A few years ago I stopped by this place for the first time during early winter after coming down the mountain pass from Sawyer Bar on a solo expedition, which involved low temperatures, barely a soul in the wilderness, and haphazard conditions driving down the icy overpass (I had been in the forest for a few days). Upon entering the town and walking into this establishment I was greeted by a warm environment with friendly staff, cold beer, and delicious food that gave me a healthy reset to continue on my journey. Since then I have stopped by this place if I'm ever around. This restaurant alone is worth making a detour to Etna if you're travelling up and down Interstate 5 and are looking for a great place to eat at and have the time to hang out and enjoy the area. The town and surrounding country is also very peaceful and interesting.

This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but here I go the most. The team is very amicable and the cuisine they serve is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent meal in this place. Highly recommended.

From the first moment you enter this place the waiters give you a good feeling. Very friendly hosts, it is a kind restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. tasty cuisine, qualified chief cook and stuff, good pay and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

I am a PCT hiker from Michigan on a day off from the trail. Paystreak welcomed two of us, backpacks and all with a smile and friendly service, great burger options, excellent fries and a first class mixed greens salad... not to mention an awesome beer list!
