We didn't stay - just ate at the restaurant. Unfortunately the Knödels were almost cold in the middle and for some reason they didn’t accept credit cards – only cash. Not to accept credit cards during the corona outbreak is simply not ok. And weird in 2020 that they don’t accept international credit cards.

in short, it was expensive and other than their wifi and breakfast, it was very underwhelming. in particular the customer service was not upto a 4 star hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for one night as part of a weekend get away. It was by far one of the best experiences we have had in Germany so far. The rooms were well taken care of and very clean. We had delicious cookies and sparkling water left for us in our room. When we came back from our evening out we decided to have a few drinks at the bar. Not one but all 3 bartenders were very kind and accommodating to us, even helped us learn some Deutsche while we hungout. Cannot recommend this place enough!

A lovely hotel directly opposite from the Ettal Abbey. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. There is a full sized pool on the lower level. The included breakfast was terrific -- a wide variety of fruit, meats, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee, and more. One small drawback is that because of its location on a hill, there was sometimes traffic noise when the windows were open.

We didn't stay at the hotel. We had dinner. We were passing through and stopped here. Dinner was amazing. Everything was incredible. Highly recommend.

Very rude stuff not speaking in English or pretending they don’t hear when someone is speaking in English to them. We stayed there for one night and left our car in the parking of the hotel, next day we noticed our car was damaged! We asked the hotel for help but they didn’t bear any responsibility and no cameras around
