Expensive and good. Food is great, staff is way beyond helpful and friendly. Next to busy roads, so enough entertainment between bytes. Thsy have Belgian specialities, which are cooked and served in excellence. 3 different beers on draft.
Good food and s nice little terrace! Two vegan options, which is an achievement for a Belgian brasserie.

We ate here just before Christmas and found it OK. My meal (essentially sausage and mash) was nice, if simple. My wife's pheasant dish stew was very overcooked and tough. Service was efficient. It didn't feel like great value and we left with an overall neutral impression, hence 3 stars.
Nice food, a bit moduły because of the street
We have known this restaurant from Deliveroo system and for a long time we were satisfied with the quality of the food and the proper packaging. However, for some weeks the quality of our orders started to decline and there is a serious inconsistency in the presentation of the dishes. Moreover, today the order which was sent to us was a manifestation of extreme disrespect to the food itself and to us as customers. We got a grilled salmon with steamed vegetables and potatoes. The fish was wet, the vegetables were overcooked (they were more like a puree) and accompanied with 3 mockingly small potatoes. The second dish was meat balls with a tomato sauce. The sauce was sour and intrusive, the side dish (potatoes again) was mediocre and wet. Carpe Diem must revise their values and standards with high quality food and respecting their clients.
I have a terrible accent and my French is awful, I was so embarrassed to speak to anyone but I'm glad I chose here for my first meal in Brussels. The staff is so polite and friendly and the food is great. Thank you so much ️
