After being a loyal customer for 10 years, I can reassure you that the service quality has declined immensely and is not worth the expensive prices charged anymore. When I became a customer at Jacquelin's their service, although it always much more expensive than any other seamstress, their service used to be of great quality. But recently I've had a horrible experience at this place. I've brought two new tops, one which should be shorted on its length, and another at the sleeves. Both were done badly. The one whose length needed to be shortened was not done straight and there are \waves\ in the front and in the back. It's simply impossible to wear it. The one whose sleeves needed to be shortened has now one sleeve longer than the other. I could have done better if I had done it myself, and I don't know how to sew. When I went back the day after to show her these problems she got angry with me and didn't take any responsibility and said that the products were faulty when I brought them to her, when that was not the case. I advise you to look for a better and cheaper seamstress. Jacquelin was never cheap and is no longer good.

I am a customer of Jacquelin since about 5 years. My mother was a couturiere, I have sewed too, and I think I can recognise high-quality sewing with style . I have brought her trousers and skirts. I am fully happy with the results. Last week, I brought her a dress made by a good friend of mine with a lot-of-love but the result is quite spoiled. Jacquelin has taken it in her hands and I am sure I will get a dress that I will wear and cherish.

I have been a loyal customer of Jacquelin' for close to 15 years. I am not aware of a better tailor in Brussels for alterations and repairs. Jacquelin''s business has grown through word-of-mouth with little-to-no advertising and the continuous growth of the business attests to the quality of the work. I have recently witnesses belligerent customers going against Jacquelin's counsel and then getting upset when the result was not as they wished even though it was their fault. Yes I believe that customer service is important, but it is not an excuse for difficult customers to harass the shopkeepers. So please keep that in mind when you read any negative comments. I can assure you that Jacquelin' is the best in the business in Brussels to the extent that many shops of \Haute Couture\ send their alterations to Jacquelin'. Happy to explain more, since I hate to see a good, honest small business owner be subject to unfair criticism.
