It's rare to find a place where the community is so instantaneously loving and passionate about being the local church. On our first visit we felt so welcomed and cared for by everyone. They even had greeters in the parking lot! Their childcare is amazing (the kids love getting to play in a whole gym!) and the teaching is solid and engaging. And they have so many ways to get plugged in and serve and fun events all year long. So thankful for Westside being the community of Jesus here in West Eugene!

An amazing community of people who are all striving to be more like Jesus. There are so many young families at Westside which is perfect for my growing family. Pastor Brooks is eager to meet new visitors and does an amazing job of making “unchurched” people feel welcome. Also, whoever is running kids church is doing a phenomenal job!

Visiting from out-of-town and came for fellowship at this church and found the following: Cheerful, friendly environment Christ-centered worship Biblical message I would highly recommend visiting here if you are seeking a church home. In trying to undstand Mr. Suter's experience, I clicked the link for his name. He seems to have a proclivity for triple x, one-star, negative reviews. Please don't let his comments keep you from from checking out this church and drawing your own conclusions.

10/28/18 11:00am RACISTS. I was here at a PUBLIC school Metal Detecting, I was racially profiled by the church’s so called security/Usher by the name of Craig and told to leave. I have it all on video. He walked past two other fellow (White) Detectorists looked at them and came directly to me, the (Black guy) and began questioning me and being extremely aggressive and rude. I advised him that it was public land we were on and I wouldn’t be leaving, I pay taxes for that school. So he proceeded to call the police \u200d️ when they arrived they pretty much laughed at this Craig guy and left. Talk about overzealous, rude un god like fellow. When I asked him for his immediate supervisors name, he said it was God. This is who the church hires to help them. I wouldn’t recommend a bit.
