12 of us went kayaking. A little tricky paddling thru the canal but once on the river it was absolutely beautiful. The cypress trees are spectacular. A must paddle. No restrooms around unfortunately.

This is an amazing place I can’t wait to visit again. It’s very rugged so you have to watch out for no bathrooms and a lot of bugs. But this is why you want to go there because is the real Florida . Once you are in the lake try to find the tree that looks like an elephant.
