Communication was sorely lacking, I had to chase them for updates/callbacks. The car was not properly cleaned before it was released for delivery, both inside and out. The car was due to be collected on a Friday morning for delivery on Friday afternoon, I received a call from the transport company mid afternoon Thursday wanting to deliver my car Thursday evening as the transport lot had, had a cancellation and my car had been released early. As the insurance was not set to start till the following day and the vehicle was not taxed I could not accept it early. It turns out that the delivery driver lived about 20 miles south of where I live so took my car to his address, and simply drove it to my house the next day. The early collection was purely for the convenience of the driver and nothing to do with me. That then leads me to my next issue, despite the driver wearing a face mask to my door I very much doubt he had been wearing one for the 100 mile drive the day before, the dealer told me that the drivers clean the car down before they hand the car over he had no bag so where he kept his cleaning supplies is a mystery to me. I have contacted the dealer a few times, including pictures of the cars condition and as I have now come to expect I’ve heard nothing back from them. After I spent the afternoon cleaning the car inside and out, I am now happy with the car, just a shame that the dealer are not as good as the car.

Until last year this was one of my best Shops to go. I'm Giuseppe Manzoli-chef a Professional Private Chef service Edinburgh and all over Scotland.. I bought my van used here and I'm very very happy with my van. It was 53,000 Miles and now at 74,000 miles is still great..no one problem to my engine... The Problems here are with the company... From when I started 2 years ago things are changed... We started with my service that is planned once a year...but I don't know why someone called me 4 month in advance to do service and so They asked for pay the 4 month advanced service.. I went in the reception then I loose a couple of hours for that and I resolved that my van didn't need advance service... Then 4 month passed and I pop my van in for the annual service... No body called me to pick up my van... so I went there in the evening and the van of course was ready... but till last year they sent you a text tell that the van is ready and you can go for it... so this year didn't happen.. Then I didn't received a fisical report of what my van need to be done in the future even by email...nothing... I know soon I've to do the wheels and the timing belt ... so I asked to get an email with the quote... after 14 days nobody is interested in my business... I also filled up their survey but nothing happen.... Also The service that is Planned every year is with the cleaning of the inside of the van with a special treatment for the interior...but this year they have not done this... I'm not sure what happen to this company... something is changed....also I've been there 3 times during this period and there are not really happy faces say a nice welcome to you when you enter through the door... is just a cold ambient... This is my opinion... only my opinion... But my combo vauxal is a great van !!!!
I bought a 68 plate insignia from this garage 6 weeks ago and after having the car for a week the engine management light came on and the cars computer telling me the cars due a service. They said the car was brought up from their Plymouth garage and that Plymouth should have serviced it. The car sat on their forecourt for 5 days before I collected it. I would think they should have serviced it before I collected it. I use the car as a taxi so now that it's off the road due to their negligence I'm out of pocket. Therefore I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If all my complaints are taken care of today then I'll happily leave the matter as it is. If they are not dealt with they can come take the car back!
Got our car valued online via the Evans Halshaw website. We were very honest about the condition of the car and made sure to mark the car as lower standard than in reality to set our expectations for a valuation. The online valuation came back surprisingly decent so we set aside a morning to go in for a face to face appointment. The appointment took ages and they hummed and hawed at the car and then offered us almost 1000 less than the online valuation their own website had generated. We asked why the value was so different to their online system but they had no answer for us so we walked away but it was a total waste of our time and theirs. If you've got a car to sell, don't waste your time here - they're no better than We Buy Any Car.
