This branch improved a lot since the new Branch Manager Jamie P, she is very professional, she helped me with a new business account and to apply for the Paycheck Protection Plan. Her fast responses and guidelines was the key to obtain the loan very fast. The new branch personals are very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you

I would say I’m surprised given the current social and political climate; however, I am not!! This bank demonstrated racial bias and discriminatory practices. I’ve banked with them for over a year now and generally have had no big issues. Unfortunately when I made a sizeable withdrawal from my account ( For which of course I have to provide private credentials) they called corporate investigations on me and told them that they suspected FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY. The deposits in question weren’t personal checks nor where they ATM deposits. They were electronic transfers from the federal government. My account was frozen, pulled into the negative -500,000 and my mobile app log in credentials were made “invalid”. After dealing with countless customer service reps who also would not provide me any answers and watching my small business suffer for several more days I refuse to let this go! It is this type of micro-aggression behavior that allows these bias practices to go on. It should be dismantled!

Unethical and no professionalism. Visited this branch to open my daughter's checking account. Literally waited for 40 minutes with no greeting or service provided. Left with nothing. BAD customer service!!!
STAY AWAY. PREDATORY. Our local non-profit preschool (over 50 years in operations) banked here for years but when they closed down the only ATM near our school, and with only 1 branch in Evanston, we had to change banks. After moving most of our money, we kept the account open to have access to historical reports for audit purposes. One of our software subscriptions was unknowingly auto-paid from this account which caused a 75 overdraft. We were hit with a 37.00 over draft fee and then an 8 PER DAY overdraft fine. We were not notified about the overdraft and it went for several weeks. When someone finally noticed the charges, we immediately went to the bank to pay off the overdraft amount and close the account for good. We paid the principle amount overdrafted and requested consideration to eliminate the extreme fees that now exceeded the initial amount. They removed the initial fee and only 2 DAYS of fines, thus leaving nearly 75 we still needed to pay. They said if we don't pay, it will be sent to collections and they will prevent us from opening other accounts even in other banks. I spoke with branch manager several times and she said \There's nothing I can do\. We do not have the budget to afford these unexpected fines, and it is unreal that after we paid the overdrafted principle balance, they insist on enforcing their fines. Its predatory and shameful. DO NOT BANK HERE.
