I wish I could could remember the woman's name, she left my mom sitting alone while she went outside multiple times, never told my mom what she was doing to her hair until my mom asked, it wasn't even close to what she asked for. Stylist just bleached tf out of my moms hair and put what she claimed to be toner over it. Never did a strand test or asked my mom the history of her hair. It turned a orangey red and my mom left in tears.

I booked an appointment for a full head color and trim with their stylist Sydney. I didn't mind that her previous appointment ran over and I sat in my car waiting for 20 minutes without a warning. Going in my hair was a dark natural brown, but I wanted to go a bit lighter to a light ash brown color. I showed her a picture of what I wanted so their was zero room for confusion. After 3.5 hours of complete and awkward silence in the chair my hair was revealed to be platinum blonde, very far from what I had asked for. The most devastating part was that my roots were still very much my natural brown color and my hair had been fried so much that it looked like it was chopped off with dull scissors...blindfolded (very uneven 2-4 inches all around). I was visibly upset with the outcome and in total awe of how awful it looked. The next couple of days I attempted to get a hold of the owner, she finally agreed to refund me the full amount I had paid and we agreed that I'd come back at a later date for her to fix it. I made an appointment and they cancelled within a few hours of the time I was scheduled. The owner informed me she was completely booked up for the rest of the month during normal work hours, choosing not to go out of her way to fix the mistake and consistently giving me excuses. To say that I'm disgusted is an understatement, this has been the worst customer service I have ever received and I would STRONGLY discourage anybody from booking an appointment at this establishment. EDIT: First off many of your facts are incorrect and I find it very unprofessional that you continue to place the blame on me when I answered all of the questions your stylist asked beforehand. I advised I work until 4:30 and don't have any vacation time. I could come in any day after 4:30 or anytime on the weekends. Your response only solidifies why I would advise everyone to avoid going to your establishment.

If you want an amazing haircut/coloring I highly recommend this salon! Super friendly stylists and a great atmosphere. Chloe cut my hair and she knew exactly what I wanted and she was very understanding and reassuring when I said that I don’t like getting my haircut because people always mess my hair up and make it look really bad. I will defiantly go here next time I am in town!

Had to schedule appointment, and text when we got there. Hairdresser (Chloe) got me in within seconds, and out in a timely manner. She also carried in a good conversation which is one thing I like to say makes a good business person. The cost of the haircut was fair as well. Will be coming back, and bringing a new client (daughter) soon.

I have been going to the Blue Duck for some time now, and as the pandemic hit, I was concerned about hitting the salon again. But they have been following all the safety recommendations, wearing and requiring masks, taking temperatures, hand sanitizer readily available, and keeping occupancy low. Not only do they do good work, they're serious about keeping their employees and customers safe.
