My family and I have gone to Evansville Eyecare for years. Dr. King is an excellent doctor that is knowledgeable, polite, and actively listens to you. The staff here and kind and professional; everyone always appears to be working hard. Their selection of frames, cases, and accessories is top-notch. The office itself is clean and modern. I even saw Dr. King one time at my place of work and he noticed something wrong with my eye and called in a prescription for eye drops right there on the spot! Who does that! He saved me a co-pay and from having to schedule a visit. It is small things like that that make a difference.

Always had great experience here except today. My son's glasses came in and the office texted me to come pick up. Every other time I have had to bring him so they can do the adjustment so it's always been an issue to get him out of school early and for me to also not be working just to do such. I thought today would be no different so I got him right after school and took him downtown, a 25 minute drive, only to just be handed the glasses through the front door and told to call to make an appointment if he needs an adjustment. Seriously? We're already here and you know new glasses more often than not need adjustments so why not inform me before all the hecticness of me making sure he's with me AND that I'm off work via the text or a phone call so I could have made an appointment and not had to make a 3rd trip in a week's time or I could have just picked them up earlier rather than waiting for him to get home. However you're changing your normal policies and procedures should be related to your clients and not you find out when you arrive scenario.
