Contrary to Rumours Dan is not going out of business yes he is downsizing and moving back out to the Saint Wendel area where he will be buying selling and trading radios, amps Etc. He still has many items that you can find that is very helpful in the amateur radio Hobby best thing is to call him around noon before going because he may be tied up and not available to get in other than that great service friendly guy to work with you won't be disappointed. Check out his website has many deals on there.

I was on a cross country road trip when my FT857 finally kicked the bucket. I stopped in here after hearing about it on a repeater in Louisville. The shop, while yes, a bit disorganized to the outsider, had everything a typical ham operator could want. The old vault in the back was amazing, and I'm sure would make a great chamber for testing. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better place to stumble upon. I picked up an 817 and was back on the road.

I order a product from their website and I received an email saying the product was not in stock and no longer available. Their website did not indicate no stock. One comment, the person corresponding from their organization appears to be one for whom English is a second language or who never made it through grade school.
