Open air/shelter Bake & Craft Show there today. There is a nice campground, restroom facilities & other buildings, too. Nice swim area & is also a fishing lake (Ely Lake - no connection to Northern MN ,town of Ely).

Good place to visit for the week or weekend. Plenty of RV 30/50 amp and tent camping spots. Some where around 53 spots. Right on Ely lake, decent fishing caught 2 largemouth bass, 3 docks, swimming beach, Volleyball court, hot showers, 4 restrooms, playground for the kids. Cheap for RV spots expensive for tent camping 25. 10% off for military veterans just show your credentials. I stayed the entire weekday in Aug about half the spots where still available. Nice campground. Sites are a bit open as far as privacy. Nice folks and cheap firewood. Sandy beach could be a bit cleaner but that's because if the users, not the management
