I bought a piece of Westcombe Dairy cheddar cheese as part of an offer on cider from an online cider shop. It was an impulse buy with the cider, but I can honestly say this is probably one of the nicest cheddar cheeses I can ever remember tasting. It is robust, slightly nutty, and has a nice crumbly texture. It is a delight to eat as an accompaniment to a crisp dry cider. This is no bland generic supermarket cheddar, it has flavour and is well worth a try.

Lovely local cheese, beer and cider shop - straight from the production line. Staff are really helpful and generous with their tasters. Cheese tastes banging. Great selection of breweries craft beers with some bold flavours. Also has a selection of few cured meats. Decent value too

Lovely little shop. Friendly staff take time to tell you all about the different cheeses. The smoked cheddar is delicious but I enjoyed all my purchases and bought some local cider too

We live ten minutes drive from here. Attached is a picture of a growler we got refilled and took out to drink in the sun. Really good cheese (try the Lamyatt), loads of wild beer and now also saucisson (try the veal). Also they sell Somerset ice cider which is the greatest alcoholic beverage ever made.
