Best Buy customer service is not what it’s used to be. If you’re door is open for business then you should make the effort to provide customer service. I’m just getting tired of businesses using covid to hide behind their lack and poor of customer service. I purchased a sound-bar subwoofer combo unfortunately it wasn’t compatible with my TV even though it stated it would on the website. I initiated a return/exchange that would take place in person at the store. The Best Buy in Everett where I went didn’t have the one I wanted to swap it with only the Cambridge store had it, however it says they had only one in stock. I waited for 40 minutes to get a customer service personnel to check with Cambridge to verify they really had one so I didn’t drive all the way there to find out when I get there they didn’t specially it was right after a snow storm. Only the cashier who tried calling the Cambridge store even using the store phone line no one at the Cambridge store answered horrible; it was hard for her to remain on the phone on hold when she had to cashed out other customers finalizing their purchase. Since no one else was willing to provide me with a little bit of customer service and go that little extra after she requested assistance from coworkers I ended up proceeding with my return and had to place an order for the item I wanted to be shipped. Now people wonder why someone choose to make purchases on websites like Amazon or directly from the manufacturing company. Some of us at times miss the interaction we had with people in person do to covid so we chose to go to the store to get that connection for a purchase while complying with health regulation currently in place. I used to love going to Best Buy for all my electronics needs after this experience I will no longer making any purchase from Best Buy nor would I recommend Best Buy to anyone do to poor customer service it’s unfortunate.

This is the closest BB to me. It's location off of rt. 16 can be confusing to find and the parking entrance is behind the building and not well marked. Staff at the store were nice and helpful. Appliance area in the back left is kind of sad and did not inspire me to even bother looking after 5 minutes or so. I would not waste the time browsing for appliances here in the future.
