Working at Evergreen Crossings has been a blessing. Bernadette and Neal are the nicest most compassionate people I’ve ever met and they work very hard to make sure everything is good. Above good. There is no favoritism. This is a community full of people’s homes. We can not have an attitude with every little thing or word said. Teamwork is top notch the staff here are always working together and helping out. I’ve not heard nor seen anyone who is unhappy about the way they are treated besides the person who reviewed here, on the contrary, everyone is treated with respect. How can Bernadette discriminate someone SHE and NEAL hired? They CHOSE their employees. In all of my working years this is the first place I’ve ever felt appreciated and the management is really very down to earth and show appreciation to each and every one of us on a daily basis. Love working here.

I worked with Bernadette, Neal, Charles and Susan when considering an Independant Living facility for my aunt. All the staff have been exceptional so far and Bernadette went above and beyond my expectations in helping my aunt feel welcome and ultimately choose Evergreen Crossing. This place is truly amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming, the facility is top notch and my aunt is now looking forward to her new home!

I have known Charles, Susan, Neal and Bernadette since the beginning of there individual times in South Windsor with this facility and its construction. They are all kind and compassionate as they have worked with my grandmother Beverly. I’m extremely impressed with there knowledge, helpfulness, and kindness. My grandmother is so excited to move in and after evaluation more then 12 sites for her in CT I would not put her anywhere else in this state!

The lady manager Bernadette doesn't know how to treat her employees, she is rude and disrespectful. She treats some with favoritism and others she mistreats. I felt used and discriminated against and she always gave me an attitude, I had to communicate with her husband because she has poor interpersonal skills when it comes to her employees. When she made a mistake, she took the blame out on me and never took responsibility for her actions, I felt like the black sheep. I felt forced to walk out of a job that I loved. Sad to say that a newly opened and so beautiful place has her as a part of management.
