Absolutely love this cafe! Gorgeous old building, stunning mini life like cathedral set into the wall and lit up, a lovely dolls house in a glass cabinet and a huge collection of teapots to look at while you eat there, amazing food! Generous portions, amazing taste, can highly recommend their hot chocolate too! Lovely couple that run the building, we had a nice chat, have been back several times and will go back again and again

Good food made fresh. Had a tuna sandwich and ham sandwich both good quality and a very generous serving of fruit pie which was top notch home cooking style. Proud to support this small local business
Fantastic building, lovely dolls house, a mini cathedral in the wall, lots of teapots, plenty to look at whilst eating great food, the puddings are stunning and lovely couple running the cafe, friendly and helpful, will be coming back soon
I'm not sure where to start exactly. The couple that own the cafe looked beyond miserable and it had an atmosphere that could cut the air with a knife!! However, I'd walked in and thought I may as well stay. I asked if I could plug in my phone, to which the female owner said it was okay. I then ordered a hot chocolate and was informed by the male owner that he would have to charge me 50p to charge my phone. Something about electrical costs!! Pretty sure that it wasn't going to cost him 50p to charge my phone!! At this point I thought he was joking. He was not joking, pointed out by his wife. Plus, the hot chocolate came out looking pretty congealed, so I walked out!! It was my first visit to Evesham and my phones battery had run out, so I needed to charge it, to find the station. My sense of direction is terrible!! So, if they had actually told me that it would cost me to charge my phone, before ordering my hot chocolate, had actually smiled at least once and produced a hot chocolate that looked remotely worth drinking, then maybe I wouldn't have walked out!! I'm now sat in Herbies, with friendly staff, a nice atmosphere, a decent hot chocolate and charging my phone for free!!
Not sure what century this place is from, but you can only pay with cash! Did not stop to try the food or drink as don’t carry any these days! Really nice place next door though that accepts digital money!
Lunch just ok. The dessert was good, according to my partner. Toilet was probably the dirtiest I've come across in the UK. Wouldn't have eaten in the place if I'd seen it first.
