Am out of province and needed to solve an irritating gate issue immediately that involved my neighbor's gate being wedged to a closed position. Found Ewood Contractors under BBB, emailed pics to James, discussed issue with him being out there the next day and fixed the gate issue. He has 30 yrs of knowledgeable behind him and does excellent work. He does what he says he is going to do, is an excellent problem solver and maintains contact with the customer until completion. He gets the job done on time and is a pleasure to work with and has fair pricing.

Wow!! We could not be happier with our new fence. It is so strong and well built and more beautiful than I could have imagined. The gates are beautiful and a lot of time went into building the fence right up next to our garage (no gaps). It is very clear that everything this lovely couple builds is well thought out and will last for a very long time. Wonderful to work with and couldn't be happier! I would recommend Ewood to anyone looking for fencing or any other renovations.

We hired James with Ewood to build a fence around our property. They were very professional and did a great job at listening to what we wanted and the end product was excellent. Quality craftsmanship and done in a timely manner. It was a big project with 3 neighbours fences involved and they worked with everyone to make a great fence and gates. I would recommend then 100%!
After the amazing retaining wall James and his wife built for us last fall, we hired them back to complete our deck. Once again, they demonstrated skill, knowledge and efficiency along with an eagerness to share their ideas and expertise in an effort to ensure our satisfaction.
