This hotel is amazing and the service is top-notch. Check-in was pleasant and easy. Plenty of parking on site. Our room was very clean and quiet. The restaurant is terrific. Ash, our server, was fantastic and made the evening dinner all the better. Definitely worth a stay.

Friendly staff. Everyone makes a point of eye contact and speaking to you. I’ve been in some older hotels before and this one is outstanding for its mix of modern touches and old world elegance. I don’t know how it would be on busy summer weekend but early spring was terrific.

Exceptional staff. Very helpful with recommendations. All Covid-19 protocols in place. The pool was a nice place to relax. Ghost tour was very informative. Bed super comfortable

The Elms is a beautiful historic hotel that is incredibly well kept and has a wonderful atmosphere. The room was a little dated but for us it was part of the charm and the bed was super comfortable. The Elms has so much to offer! We loved the spa and enjoyed rejuvenating massages before relaxing in the grotto. We also took full advantage of the European lap pool and hot tub. The food at 88 for both breakfast and dinner was wonderful and we also enjoyed the pastries and coffee at the coffee shop. One evening we took the paranormal tour with Jay and it was a fun little walk around the hotel to hear some cool ghost stories. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Stay over night? Check. Eat food and don’t stay over night? Check. Hang in the hot tub? Check. Enjoy the bar? Super Check. Swim in the pool underground? Check. Spend a day at the spa? You guessed it. Check. Spend any amount of time here, it’s lovely as a little getaway. Do things you’d do at a hotel, or at a spa. Or combine them. All ways are acceptable. I’ll go again, and no one can stop me!

Excellent choice for impeccable service and to be surrounded in grandiose history. The hotel is immense and cozy at the same time. Our single room was small compared to modern hotels but the bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and shower had great water pressure. We felt safe and comfortable. Restaurants downtown not only had great selections but were also within walking distance if the weather cooperates. Consider making reservations for dinner on site and the Spa when you reserve your room. You must visit the unique lap pool! We enjoyed water walking and the hot tub. We viewed the Ghost Hunters episode featuring the Elms prior to our visit. The paranormal tour at the Elms covered most of the same stories and the guide was informative and entertaining. The Spa is top notch. I recommend this destination hotel in the historic small town as some where you can spend a relaxing weekend.

Loved the hotel and especially the spa. All staff was very nice. Rooms are going through a refurbish so some of the furniture is worn. But I am sure will be beautiful when completed

An ideal place for a relaxing getaway or host a special event! The hotel is a visual masterpiece that is full of history. A majority of the hotel has been tastefully renovated. Nicely preserving the hotel's original character. The staff is warm and inviting, Southern hospitality at its finest. This hotel has a little something for everyone. There is even an option to take a ghost tour during your stay. But most importantly, after a half-day at the spa sipping drinks, you'll sleep like a dream here.
