According to Meg in their office, they have to make 1200 per client at closing. That is about twice what other attorneys charge. They have a relationship with Iberia Bank, and they have closings every 30 minutes. They will not respond to phone calls or emails. They will not provide a full disclosure statement showing buyers and sellers costs, as that allows them to give Iberia Bank customers lower rates and make up for those discounts by charging the other client more. Meg claims it is a breach of privacy to provide such a statement, but it is solely to manipulate and inflate their own fees. Our documents contained missing information, such as the home warranty, and the documents were prepared the afternoon prior to closing the next day - very last minute. If you do not attend closing, you will receive no final fully executed documents. I do not know how they have received any positive reviews on Google--I guess they are from Iberia Bank customers.
