Fabulous place, with helpful staff. Lots of support to deal with covid-19 changes. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt safe even with two young children in there...lots of lovely books to bring home!

I visited library yesterday. As I'm member of library (I have card),I expected get help to print one document (attached on my email message).I asked staff for help. Two woman (one manager and one girl as staff member)said that they can't help on computer desk because coronavirus. Im very disappointed with this staff. Horrible service Never will visit again this place.Absolutely will not recommend this place.

A vast amount of books can be found in the Exeter Central Library. They have a wide range of any particular subject. Art, maths, travel, languages, leisure, fiction and non-fiction, food, weight loss, etc. The library has four storeys, even though it is technically three tall; one of the floors, where the Rougement Room is, is halfway up between the middle and top floors. The middle floor is the quiet room; whereas the top floor has toilets for people to use when they need them. There is also a café just inside the building; just stay within it if you want to eat there. The library even has a science lab where you can make things, e.g. with acrylic or glass; but do it safely because the staff will not be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by any of the equipment in the lab. With computers, it's the same as in Exmouth Library; they can be used for 15 or 120 minutes. As soon as the Lockdown is over, all services will be available for public use.
