Amazing!! Me and my sister (16 and 14) went on a lovely hack with Amy and Maddie as our guides! They were so friendly and easy to chat to! I rode Evie who was super well behaved and well suited to my ability. As an experienced rider I was keen to have a fun hack and we got exactly what we asked for!! All the horses are well looked after and forward going. We're definitely coming again and would recommend to people of any ability!!

Well organised, happy healthy ponies. Lessons are beautifully run and children are encouraged throughout. A great place for lessons for all ages and of all abilities.

I went here for a 1 hour hack while on holiday in Devon, the horses we were paired with were perfect for the different abilities I’d discussed on the phone with the owner. I was on Archie who was lovely and responsive, and my beginner non-rider boyfriend was put on Harvey - they were the perfect match and everything went smoothly! The staff/helpers are all friendly and we were made to feel very welcome

We took our 3 teenagers, along with my more experienced niece, for a taste of riding. All had sat on a horse before and enjoyed the experience of riding here at this friendly and helpful stables. One of the 3 voted it the best activity of the holidays and all were pleased with the hour on a horse. I liked the vibe at this stables and would use it again!

My daughters (11 and 15) and their two cousins went out for a ride with sister in law as well. All but one rider were complete novices. My daughter who was both the oldest and tallest child was put on the smallest horse (an Exmoor pony) and found it impossible to control. She was obviously put on the most difficult as she was the eldest despite her lack of experience. This didn't help when she was unfortunately stung by a bee during the ride and was unable to attract the attention of the girl leading the ride who was busy on her phone. Clearly a dangerous situation with an inexperienced rider but fortunately she didn't panic and so was not hurt. When I called the stable later that day to discuss what had happended I was told that the four guides sent out with the party were aged 18 and 16 and 'younger' and had no qualifications other than being students at a local college. So that is basically one 18 year old responsible for 7 children with one other adult present who has no riding experience. There was also no first aid kit present on the ride and the children leading the ride were not first aid trained (due to coronavirus I was told). The ride itself was in a beatiful location. This may be great for experienced riders but if you are a beginner I would chose somewhere a bit more professional.
