Really helpful staff. I went in with only a vague idea of what was needed and they explained everything. Had everything that i needed, plus a few i didn't know i needed until i got there. Plenty of parking too.

Today I went to Maplin Exeter quiet had trouble with my external powerpack which I use on a daily basis and it had stopped It's primary function of charging my devices I asked one chap with a ponytail and he was quite helpful he said that he was unsure whether or not they dealt with such a situation he called over a average height man with glasses who is very rude and wasn't very informative. The chap with glasses informed me what could be wrong with my external powerpack but he did not have a look at it and did not say or explain how or where I can get it repaired
I went to maples for speaker connectors. It was that simple. A member of staff took me to the area and I chose the items required... this took all of ten minutes. This was brilliant I thought until I reached the till and has to wait over half an hour to pay for my items. There were two members of staff dealing with customers but they were talking and not using a till. I would have thought that my member of staff would have jumped on the till to take my 4.98... I very nearly walked out but I really needed the items and had already been to other shops unsuccessfully.
I have great service by the people that work there and very help and know what there talking about if I could rate higher I would just an amazing store
Good to get you out of a spot but expensive compared to other (online) retailers. That I guess you could say is the price of convenience.
Well stocked electronics store, I go there as it's the cheapest place to buy AA batteries at only 14.99 for 100!
Love it, definitely one of my favourite shops. Even love the "Chinglish" instructions you get with everything like: "when red light flash is record ok. If red light orange flash slow connecting for charging on appliance can function unnecessarily".lol
I needed a HDMI 2.0, a 3m USB to mini USB cable and a dock that converts internal HD's to external drives. They had everything I needed, BUT...as soon as I walked in the store I was treated like a shoplifter. Three members off staff followed me around the store giving me side glances and trying very hard to look like they were busy even though they were three steps from me at all times. They didn't once ask me if I needed help, they just followed me around. I understand that stores have high level of theft but there are ways to deter that besides making genuine customers feel like criminals. I, for one, will never shop here again as the staff made me very uncomfortable. Amazon has everything I need, cheaper, without fear of being branded a shoplifters. Disgusting.
