If you’re visiting Castle Drogo during this pandemic (Covid-19) unfortunately the castle is closed. However, it’s not all bad news as there is a stunning walking trail close by, the Teign Gorge Classic Circuit with beautiful scenery. A great place to for a family visit and taking the dog out.

Really enjoyed circular walk - amazing view of valley from sharp tor and pretty river view. It takes 2hrs. Garden is lovely but small. Cafe is good and spacious

Lovely place, but worth booking the day before if possible. The castle itself was closed when we arrived due to covid but we were still able to go on some walks for free. Would recommend these, you can get an average view of the castle but an outstanding view of a beautiful valley. Definitely worthy of a film set, and it's only a 30 minute walk from the main car park.

Can’t comment on the actual castle but the circular walk along the valley floor was beautiful.

Due to COVID-19 we didn’t get to enjoy the castle and facilities. Made the walk to fingle bridge and back. Great views, Enjoyable walk. Fingle inn is definitely worth the visit to refuel. Lovely areas for picnics if you’re prepared. We visited in torrential rain and loved every minute. Definitely a favourite.
