Went there for the first time in a while after the cinema. It was very quiet so entered with some trepidation, however the service was very good and the food could not be faulted! Apparently under new ownership after a period of neglect. I would say well worth a try. I have dropped a star as it could have been warmer - the restaurant not the food!!

Visited the place with the lads for a stag do and although we were reluctant to go in, we are so glad we did. He had a wikid time. This place is not your average bog standard indian btw. They had Nice cold beer, lovely ambiant music and a warm atmosphere but most importantly the food was out of this world. But don't take my word for it. They offered us a money back guarantee on the food as well as our waiter our choosing everything for us which were happy with. They charged us 15 pounds a head which included starters and everything which to me was amazing value for money and On top of that we all got a shot of tequila for free so i can't wait to come back with my family. So if you want a really fillingly rich and tasty curry, ask the waiter to surprise you. You'll be glad you did. With the added quarantee i certainly won't be going elsewhere when im next in Exeter unless you drag me of course.. which of course will also be difficult as I'm a big lad..lol Good luck spice club..thank you for the amazing evening. If you want rich quality food, without a doubt this is the place to eat out. The best Indian weve had in a long long time. Go for the shatkora and you wont be dispointed. Use to be the spice island but the new owners have definitly turned the place around.
