Worth looking round for the atmosphere. Most of the stuff is laying in ruins and I get the feeling they don't really want to sell any of it, high prices no haggling on most of it. The woman I assume to be the owner was eccentric, to put it diplomatically. Then thats what I would expect from seeing the place. I didn't find what I was looking for and my friend was put off making a purchase for reasons he did not verbally divulge, but I can't say it wasn't an enjoyable experience all the same.

Fascinating place. Worth the drive to go and spend a couple of hours looking round. Everything from ornate oriental beds to stuffed foxes. Lots of pine furniture. Apothecary cabinets..embalmed crabs..50s pin up posters..chairs..books..wardrobes..its based in a huge sprawling barn complex over several floors. Wear a coat and sturdy shoes!

This place is full of wonderful treasures and is the real deal and nicely idiosyncratic. Worth bearing in mind it's reclamation and restoration not an antique shop. They were very helpful and spent ages patiently trying to fulfil our request, successfully! We really enjoyed the experience and are delighted with our purchase.

What an amazing place but don't take the kids they just want to touch every thing. So much to see. Keep an open mind so stuff does need a little tlc.

People had mentioned I go there and I was so disappointed when I did, which is a real shame. The place is disgustingly filthy, I didn't want to touch anything and when I washed my hands when leaving they were so dirty. They couldn't even pretend they cleaned anything as the office carpet was filthy and their tea and coffee station black. The man and lady, assumed the owners? were ok, i.e not rude but the lady smelt of alcohol and the guys prices were insulting. The basement was flooded and it seems it had been that way a while as all the lovely wooden furniture was literally rotting. Broken over priced, unclean, unloved furniture not being sold as the owner didn't seem to want to, all just rotting away. It upset me to see once beautiful items from most likely amazing laces being treated this way. It's furniture cruelty!

Cannot believe how much stuff there is, it's like an aladdins cave. Fantastic service and very reasonable delivery costs too if the item you buy doesn't fit in your car

Been many times, last time vowed never to go again. Woman there very unhelpful and items massively overpriced, seems like she picks a figure out the air, when we ask why so expensive she says that they can restore and resell. What a waste of our time. I don't know who their market is. Don't anyone ever give anything to this business they are greedy! We went to Toby's instead what she wanted 600 for we got for 55!! Another visit, there's a damaged, rusty fire grate outside in the wet, 5 years ago she wanted 1700 for it....it's still there!!!
