Great pub in middle of Exmouth. Beer brewed on site with 3 other local ales. At least 4 ciders on tap plus 8 boxes in fridge. Sports shown plus outside courtyard seating.

This pub is a dying breed as is chilled, friendly and it supports live music. It's so refreshing to perform here and have customers that appreciate live bands. I'm looking forward to performing classic rock covers with Devil Rain on Sunday 12th January, our first gig of the year!!

Came down to Exmouth for a wedding and asked Google for a good pub and this one came up, so came to have a look, very sport orientated but has one of the best Juke boxes I've ever seen AND 11 plays for 2:00, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, they turned up the speakers outside so we could listen to our songs, much appreciated, the beers were excellent and if you like pool there are two tables, apparently Sunday is an amazing day for live music, friendly locals (l sound like I've been paid to write this but I promise you I haven't) presently listening to the Beatles with a pint of Checkstone Bitter, fabulous.

Home to the Checkstone Brewery, Exmouth's only brewery. They usually have at least one of their own brews always on. And at a bargain 2.50 a pint! Three other cask beers offered plus a draught cider. Rambling rustic interior with sports TV.
