I recently visited lets fry away and what a great local fish and chip shop with such a variety on the menu! my whole family all found something they wanted for once!! all cooked fresh while we waited, defiantly be back again!!

Hi all. We hope that you are all staying safe in these uncertain times. The government has just revealed that they are going to extend the lockdown for another 3 weeks, words that we were dreading. We have been asked on so many occasions especially in our home village of Lympstone why we are not doing deliveries especially as we have a new sign written van and the answers are simple. El and I could not cover the work load ourselves and standards could drop doing too much too quickly. My son Jordan also lives with his Grandma so its a risk him returning from work to her. Any other staff would have to come from other homes which is a BIG NO. We would also have to increase prices and introduce minimum orders to cover owner drivers wages and also they would have to insure their vehicles on a hire and reward policy so their premiums would be more. We were never asked to close our doors but we see fish and chips as a treat and not an essential so we did in respect of the NHS, key workers and all emergency services. We really cannot wait to open our doors to you all again but until then, take care, stay safe, BUT STAY IN AS WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. XX
Even though it was to closing time, the lovely guys behind the counter offered to cook me whatever I wanted. They cooked fresh chips for me. The whole shop was really clean, which was impressive. Food was hot and yummy too.
Food was lovely and very reasonable prices would 1000000% recommend !!!!!
