I work as an agency registered nurse and go to many homes. Every home I go to have good points about them but I must say I find Linkways outstanding. The care the patients are given is exceptional, especially personal care. The food is also good and is healthy in choice. Staff are very kind to the patients and treat them with total dignity and respect at all times. As an agency nurse I found all staff were all supportive whilst I worked there.

My mother was admitted to Linksway in 2016 after a 3 month stay in hospital following a bad fall in her flat. She was incapable of independent living & needed 24/7 nursing care. I was uneasy about this because of all the stories in the media about bad care homes but in the 3 years she was in Linksway, I never had any cause for concern. The care she received was excellent and the family never had any worries about her. She wasn’t the easiest of residents, yet was cared for with love and affection, making her final years far more comfortable than they might have been. The home was always clean & never smelly. We were always consulted about any changes to her care & kept up to date with her health status. She was able to have her own photos & pictures up in her room & the staff actively sought information about her, her past & the family to enhance her care. We are deeply grateful to them all for making her final years comfortable & as happy as they could be. I can't recommend Linksway highly enough.
Fantastic care for my Grandma for what is a difficult period if her life. I myself have worked in care and this home puts my mind completely at ease. Great nurses, great food, great care. Thank you Linksway.
Linksway Nursing home provided wonderful care for my father in law for past 10 months until his death .The care given is exceptional, he needed full time nursing mainly on bedrest with a host of medical conditions .He was kept comfortable, clean and happy in a very difficult time of his life .The staff were always pleasant to us what ever time we rang and kept us informed at other times. They always listened to our concerns and never made us feel a nuisance. My father in law was happier here than he had been at home . He could have cups of tea when he wanted.and regular company from the staff ,all things that had been difficult at home . We recommend this home highly ,it always smells fresh and clean because it is !
